A Brief History
Founded by local resident, Terry McCowan, who became interested in the concept of Men’s Sheds after viewing a segment on the ABCs 7.30 Report. After securing an offer of the premises at 28 Pomeroy Street, Terry called a meeting of interested parties on Valentines Day, February 14, 2009 which resolved to form a Men’s Shed. The Club elects a committee annually and all office bearers act in a voluntary capacity
